Video Scrapbook

Video Scrapbooking is all about catching important family moments on the video. Precious moments will be lost if you do not take the effort now.

It is also fun looking at photographs or a video after a long time to relive memories. There is one disadvantage in this for the person who is videotaping the event. He tends to miss out on the fun of the event while focussing on capturing the event itself.

One thing that could help in a situation like this is hiring a professional to videotape the event if it is a big event like weddings, graduations, ceremonies or even births.

Whether you are hiring a professional or a trusted friend, make sure to explain to him what  exactly you have in mind and what is important that he should not leave out.

These are a few tips if followed will give you a quality video –

* While taping, keep in mind the end video and how it will look when viewed.

* Avoid sudden and abrupt stops and changes.

* You can keep the video running for at least five minutes as it is quite cheap and reusable.

* Make sure you are stationary while taping unless you have a camera with advanced features which keeps the picture steady even while you move around.

* Once you complete taping the event, you can suitably edit it and label and date the VCR tape before storage.
