Have a Scrapbook Party
Scrapbook parties are fun for any age group, especially so for girls get
together. There are no actual rules for scrapbooking. You just get together interesting photos, pictures, and
supplies and you are ready to go.
Scrapbooking as it is obvious is more interesting and fun in a group. Innovative
fresh inputs from other people, resourceful sharing of materials,etc can make scrapbooking an ultimate
experience.
In order to host a scrapbooking party, all you need is some space, a big dining table
or even small tables with end tables. People coming for the party must bring their own pictures, photos and
memorabilia as well as the album where they want to assemble their pages. You can organize for people to bring
various supplies they will need.
If it is the first time you are organizing a scrapbook party, do not make it go on
for more than a few hours. Just aim to complete a few pages in one session. If you push it or prolong it, it tends
to get tedious and monotonous.
It should be fun not a chore. You can get together more often for short durations to
make it more interesting. This gives people to accumulate more photographs, supplies, die cuts, etc.
If you are hosting the party, it is a good idea to have snacks on hand. Avoid liquids
and messy snacks. If spilt by mistake it will ruin anyone’s hard effort. You can also motivate people with some
competitions and prizes.
One idea is to award the scrapper who completes the most number of pages with small
scrapbooking supplies.
